Venice is a city replete with Jewish history, including the first printing of holy books, such as two of Judaism’s most important, the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah and the Shulchan Aruch. For two decades, Chabad of Venice has been serving tourists from all over the world, as well as our local community. We hope you enjoy reading about our activities, which are certain to inspire. Learn Why

The Rabbinical Yeshiva currently serves as the Chabad shul, attended by thousands of Jewish tourists who pass through the city every year. A recent article in the Jerusalem Post stated that 12 million tourists visit Venice annually, including 300,000 Jews.

All had a great time, pictures on the Red Carpet, gondola rides, games, prizes, music, food (a barista making round-the-clock fruit smoothies – thanks Frulala!).

Everyone was included in the Mitzvah of hearing the Megilla, with Megilla readings all day long!
