Scuola Ebraica di Venezia – Cheder Lubavitch derives its basic instructional goals from the Torah: “Thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children”. (Devarim 6:7). Our school endeavors to develop knowledgeable and committed Jews through intensive exposure to Torah and Rabbinic tradition.
We introduce the child to the world of Torah studies and the Jewish faith, using traditional sources, with innovative methods. In our commitment to excellence, these methods are employed in a learning environment replete with Judaic resources tailored to individualized needs, engendering creativity and cultivating knowledgeable individuals with a positive self-image.
Our curriculum includes reading readiness, number concepts, science, social studies and early childhood computer skills. In addition, music, process-based art, and creative dramatics are important parts of our program. Movement, cognitive and gross motor skills are carefully monitored and gently enhanced. With a low student/teacher ratio our program is structured to encourage self esteem through personal growth.
Your child's safety is our number one priority. The children are always under expert supervision. Our loving staff is certified in pediatric first aid and CPR.
